How to register a religious building for marriages
This process allows you to register a religious building for the purpose of performing marriage ceremonies.
It costs £120 (VAT not applicable) and this payment must be tied to the completion of a prescribed form, Form 78, attached to this page.
The form has to be filled in and completed in duplicate, photocopies are not acceptable. Unfortunately we cannot offer an on-line application form as we need your signature.

This fee is to cover the costs of the advertising in the London Gazette and in a local newspaper.

After receiving your application and payment we will acknowledge the payment made for this registration process. The Superintendent Registrar will contact you following the advertisement and consultation process with further information.
