Council and democracy Rural services Shropshire Access PartnershipThe Shropshire Access Partnership (SAP) is one of six Rural Access to Services Partnerships in the West Midlands, which are funded by Advantage West Midlands. It was formally launched on 13 June 2006 at the Shropshire Conference and Education Centre in Shrewsbury.
SAP is chaired by Paul Raymond, the Shropshire Deputy Chief Fire Officer, and is hosted by Shropshire County Council. The aim of the Shropshire Access Partnership is to improve access to services for rural communities across Shropshire.
Gaining access to services such as health care, jobs, training and leisure opportunities is important to the quality of life of people living in Shropshire. The Shropshire Access Partnership can help you assess, plan and develop access solutions that meet the needs of you, your clients and customers.
