Primary Schools Winter Picnic
The traditional picnic is being given a winter makeover for primary schools on 1 March 2012. Hot sausages in a freshly made roll with sautéed onions, or tasty Cajun chicken or quorn fajitas, in a warm tortilla wrap, replace the typical sandwiches of a summer picnic. The ever popular chocolate brownies are transformed into warm chocolate sponge squares topped with marshmallow and chocolate icing or if you prefer you can choose 'Snowdrop' white choc chip cookies. With a feast to challenge the cold winter days, who says that picnics are just for summer?
Easter
Primary schools are celebrating Easter with a special menu on 28 March 2012.
