The information you give us when completing your free school meal application form means you no longer have to provide proof of your benefit entitlement.

Your information will be placed on a computer and used for the purpose of ascertaining your free school meal eligibility.

Your details will be checked via an online free school meal eligibility checking system. Once confirmed, free school meals can be awarded immediately.

If your details cannot be found within this checking system, we will ask you to provide a copy of your benefit entitlement letter or H. M. Revenue and Customs award notice.
