Local cycle clubs and competitive cycling

Shropshire has a number of cycling clubs, which organise and lead rides, both during the week and at weekends. Rides vary in length and start at a variety of locations. The largest club is probably the Cyclists Touring Club (CTC) - for more information check out their website.

Shropshire Cycle Forum

The forum meets quarterly to discuss cycling facilities and policies. New members are welcome (no charge). Existing members include local cyclists, officers and councillors from local authorities.

Ludlow Cycling Support Group

This group meets monthly to discuss improving the facilities and try to make the roads safe for Ludlow's cyclists. If you have ideas on cycle lanes, paths, routes, better road markings, safer junctions or cycle parking then come along to the next meeting.
