Vision technology and training Shropshire

Want to learn about computers? Don’t know where to go?

Vision Technology and Training Shropshire provides individually designed computer training courses for adults of all ages (no age limit!) with sensory and physical difficulties. You do not need to have a computer at home or any previous knowledge of using a computer.

We have a fully accessible ICT suite and a range of specialist equipment such as joysticks, large keyboards, document magnifiers and speech and magnification software, on-screen keyboards and symbol software all to cater for people with sensory and physical difficulties.

Our highly experienced ICT trainers offer one to one tuition and support with suitable resources such as large print, Braille, floppy discs and audio tapes.

Our ICT Suite is based in the Grange Centre in Harlescott, Shrewsbury and is fully accessible with toilets, and a coffee bar for refreshments.

  • there is the opportunity to gain certificates
  • perhaps you would like to brush up on email or the Internet?
  • learn to switch on a computer and just get typing?

Anyone can contact us if they feel that they or someone they know would benefit from an assessment for ICT training, specialist equipment, and to enquire about our services.

Social care, Health Service Professionals, or Educational Establishments can also put you in touch with us.

We also offer assessments on low vision equipment, and advice and information relating to visual impairments.
