Whitchurch Library serves residents of north east Shropshire and the bordering areas of Cheshire and Wales. For a location map, please follow the link to ShropMap.
The library is home to the Victorian clock that was originally in the Whitchurch and Ellesmere Bank, the workplace of the illustrator Randolph Caldecott who worked there as a young man before he changed careers and found fame in London and the USA.

Whitchurch Library improvements
Shropshire Council has announced that it intends to fund a refurbishment of Whitchurch Library. In addition to improving access by moving the entrance onto the High Street there will be scope for further improvements and better facilities. Bookstart Rhyme time

Reading Group
A friendly informal reading group is held in the library on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.15pm. If you are interested in joining the group please ask the staff for a copy of this month's book choice. New members are always welcome.
