Shropshire's new civil funeral service
From 1 September 2008 it will be possible to organise a civil funeral ceremony in Shropshire. These ceremonies will be non-religious and revolve entirely around celebrating and remembering the life of the person who has died. Our dedicated and excellent staff will work with you to create a dignified memorial to the person who has been lost. Civil ceremony booking
We are now pleased to be able to accept provisional bookings more than one year, but less than two years in advance of the proposed ceremony date. Provisional bookings made more than one year in advance are subject to an administration fee of £50. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable and is in addition to the fee payable for the attendance of the Registrar. Provisional bookings made within one year of the proposed ceremony are not subject to an administration fee.
