Is your child in Year 2 at an infant school?
They will transfer to junior school in September 2010.
You must apply for your child to transfer to junior school. The closing date is 15 January 2010.
We recommend that you read The Parents' Guide to Education in Shropshire before making an application. (It is available as a download on this webpage, from your child's school or the School Admissions Team).

Applicants who live outside the catchment area for a junior school are not guaranteed a place for their child even if they attend a “linked” infant school.
Please see the attachment on this webpage to see how junior school places were allocated for the 2009/2010 school year.
Letters advising you which school your child has been allocated will be sent second class on 1 April 2010.
