Helping someone uncover the mysteries of technology and the internet can be very rewarding and have a huge impact on people's lives.
There are some fantastic opportunities to learn new skills, support others and meet new people by helping out at your nearest Broadplace.
What does being a Broadplace Volunteer involve?
There are 36 Broadplaces around the county which offer public IT access and activities. Many run drop in sessions which offer support for first timers as well as specialist clubs such as family history or digital photography. If you have a bit of computer knowledge, are interested in teaching or looking to improve your skills, then please get in touch.
How do I become a volunteer?
People of all ages are very welcome. Any training you need and a free CRB check are provided. So whether you are trying to build your CV, work towards a Duke of Edinburgh Award or recently retired, your help will be much appreciated.
