Council and democracy Press releases Huffley Lane to be closed for safety worksA section of Huffley Lane between its junction with the A528, Ellesmere Road and Leaton level crossing will be closed on Thursday 17 July between 9.30am and 12.00 midnight.
For contingency purposes, and should adverse weather conditions hold up the works, Huffley Lane will remain closed on Friday 18 July until completion of the works.
This closure is necessary to allow Shropshire County Council’s contractors Enterprise to install road marking and cats eyes along this stretch of road safely.
During this closure traffic will be diverted via Leaton Road, the B5067 Baschurch Road, the A528 Ellesmere Road and vice versa.
Access for residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
