A school crossing patrol for Gobowen School is set to be congratulated for her 25 years of service at Shropshire County Council.
Hazel Edwards, from Gobowen, will be receiving her long service award from the Council on Monday 16 July.
Steve Chadwick, Shropshire County Council’s senior road safety officer, said: “I would like to thank Hazel for all her hard work and I’m sorry that she is leaving us. We all wish her the very best for the future. The school crossing patrols carry out a wonderful job, helping children across the county to cross the road safely.”
