If so, Shropshire County Council’s County Training invite you to come along to the Success through Skills event on Tuesday 4 March at Shrewsbury Town Football Club, and Wednesday 12 March at the Holiday Inn, Telford.

The exclusive event will be dedicated to businesses interested in gaining assistance to increase their competitive edge by improving the skills of their workforce. The event will explain how achieving top line performance and sustaining and growing profits can be achieved by recruiting the right staff and training your existing workforce

In the last decade education and training have become central in the discussion of Britain's economic performance. Despite significant advances in skills and qualifications, a strong skilled workforce is essential to continue to compete – in an increasingly competitive market.

Nick Graham, Chief Executive of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce & Enterprise commented: "Training is paramount to the success and growth of all businesses, whether they be small family run companies or international organisations, however research reveals employees are overlooking the benefits that training can bring. If employers wish to reduce staff turnover and boost morale, there will need to be a change in attitude towards training. Fortunately it is now easier than ever before, thanks to County Training's high quality advice and flexible, responsive training."

Both events will commence from 6pm with drinks, a light buffet and networking, followed by presentations from Knowledge, and experienced key speakers who will explain how your business can, and why it should take advantage of funding available to train and recruit your staff to maximise your business’ true potential.
