Residents of Bomere Heath, Upton Magna, Wroxeter, Atcham, Cressage, Leighton and surrounding parishes are being invited to attend the area’s annual “Let’s Talk” meeting on Wednesday 22 October. The meeting is being held at Astley Village Hall, starting at 7.00pm.
At the meeting local councillors from Shropshire County Council, Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council and local parish councils will listen to people’s comments and concerns and answer their questions.
People will be able to raise any issue, and it is expected that discussions may cover subjects including waste and recycling, issues for young people, and issues for older people.
Comments can be made during a question and answer session, as well as in workshop groups.
John Everall, Shropshire County Councillor for Tern, said: “This is a good opportunity for the community to discuss important local issues, and I hope that people will attend to share their views and comments with us.”
