Youth Support Service presentation evening

On Monday 19 November Shropshire County Council’s Youth Service will be holding a presentation evening in order to celebrate the achievements of young people and youth workers from across Shropshire.

June Drummond, The Young People’s Champion for Shropshire, who will be presenting the awards said: “It is great that we get the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of young people and staff. They have worked hard to gain this recognition and ensure that we can continue to deliver a high quality youth service.”

The evening is arranged for young people who have successfully completed various courses accredited by the Open College Network, and also been involved in the Youth Achievement Awards scheme.

Presentation will also be made to youth workers who have successfully completed the Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin Certificate in Part-time Youth Work, which is accredited through the University of Wales, Management Skills in Part-time Youth Work and Study Skills.
