Jump Aboard! The Playbus is coming to Cheswardine and Shawbury!

Are you looking for activities to do with the children that don’t cost a fortune? Look no further. On Friday 15 June the Playbus will be parked next to the Parish Hall, Cheswardine, from 10am-12pm and at the Playing Fields in Shawbury from 1pm-3pm. It has two qualified play-workers and, even better, all activities are free!

The big orange double-decker has a soft play area, sand pit, book corner, arts and crafts, dressing up and much more. There’s plenty to occupy the children while parents can talk to Heather Brennan from Shropshire Children’s Information Service about the full range of childcare options and related children’s services in the area. There will also be information on child safety.

Kate Bentham, Co-ordinator of the Children’s Information Service said: “We are keen to meet families face to face and talk about any childcare requirements they might have. It is important to make families in Shropshire aware of how the Children’s Information Service can provide information and advice on a wide range of children’s services.”
