Shropshire County Council’s children’s centres are offering a series of drop-in sessions for families across the county.
Ellesmere’s Children’s Centre is running sessions for children (0-4years) and their parents and carers. This will give families an opportunity to come together and play with their children and support the development of their early learning and language skills. These sessions run between 1pmand 3pm on Friday afternoons.
In addition, Criftins Primary School is running Top Start fun and fitness sessions for parents and children (aged 0-4). These are two sessions at 9.15 and 11am and are run by two qualified children’s centre support workers.
Two new sessions of aerobics and relaxation are due to start on 8 April at Lakelands Secondary School in Ellesmere on Tuesday afternoons between 1pm and 3pm. These sessions are open to parents of children aged 0-16 and a crèche will be available to safely care for those under five while parents enjoy the sessions. Aerobics sessions run from 1pm-2pm and relaxation sessions fron 2pm-3pm.
Also at Lakelands School, a basic IT skills course will be starting on Friday mornings from 23 May to 18 July, with a crèche for the little ones.
Please book your place on either of these courses and note that crèche places must be booked in advance on 01691 656513.
