Council and democracy Press releases Council to pay respects to Frank Leath OBECouncillor Brian Williams, Vice Chairman and Speaker, will represent Shropshire County Council at the funeral of Frank Leath OBE on Thursday (24 April).
Fellow councillors will also be present to pay their respects at the service, which will take place at 11.15am at St Giles Church, Shrewsbury.
The county flag outside Shirehall in Shrewsbury will fly at half-mast on Thursday.
Mr Leath, a well-known and respected figure, made a wide contribution to the development of public services in Shrewsbury and Shropshire.
He died earlier this month aged 87.
