Council and democracy Press releases Craven Arms road closure for rail maintenanceLong Lane, at the level crossing in Craven Arms will be closed during this weekend (Saturday 1 December and Sunday 2 December) to allow for essential railway track and signalling maintenance.
In order for this work to be carried out safely, the road will need to be closed for the duration of the work. This closure will be in place from 12.00am on Saturday night until 6.00pm on Sunday.
Richard Suggett, Shropshire County Council’s co-ordination manager for the south of the county, said: “I’d like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause; however, I do hope that people will understand that these are essential.”
