Drop in days for people with a sensory impairment
Vision Technology and Training Shropshire are working in partnership with Shropshire County Council library service to provide a series of drop in sessions in local areas across the county. The first events are on 12 June, at Ludlow Library from 10am – 12 noon, and Bridgnorth library from 2pm – 4pm
The events are an opportunity for people to find out how VTTS can help and support them and what the local library has to offer, including large print and talking books, audio described videos and DVDs. Electronic magnifiers and a computer with screen reader and magnification software will be on display.
Vision Technology and Training Shropshire is the new name for Step and Roll into learning. The service provides assessment, training and information to assist people in identifying suitable equipment, software as well as providing advice, help and support.
