Emergency road closure Sheinton Road.

Sheinton Road near Cressage has been closed for four weeks to enable us to carry out emergency repairs on the foundations of Sheinton Bridge.

Following an inspection it was found that the northern pier has been substantially undermined. The bridge has therefore been closed to traffic until the foundation has been underpinned.

Traffic will be diverted on the A458 Cressage to Much Wenlock road, A4169 Much Wenlock to Gleedon turn, then to Sheinton and vice versa

Access will be maintained at all times for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
