Another opportunity to see and buy a range of soft furnishings produced by service users from an Oswestry social care centre will take place at the Memorial Hall, Red Square on Wednesday 2 April between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
Patchworks in Oswestry will be displaying a range of products including duvets, throws and cushions all of which are handmade. There will be a raffle and refreshments and an exhibition of new products.
The unit based at Radfords Fields, Maesbury Road is operated by Shropshire County Council and provides employment and work experience for adults with learning disabilities.
Councillor Barbara Craig, Cabinet member for community services said: “Patchworks provide a superb range of quality products and are a great example of how we can support people to gain the skills and confidence for work experience and employment.”
