Craftbox at Raven House

Craftbox will be at Raven House in Market Drayton until 29 February with an interpreter who will assist groups or individuals to access the works.

Craftbox is a specially made box containing commissioned craft items by 17 makers and is currently touring community centres in Shropshire. The collection contains a very diverse range of craftpieces which communities, groups and schools are invited to come along to look at and handle.

The project includes artist workshops and Betty Pepper, who produced a piece for the box, will be working with the Wayfarers Group at Raven House on Thursday 21 February and with Market Drayton Infant School on Friday 22 February.

Craftbox is a partnership project between Bilston Craft Gallery and Shropshire County Council with funding from Arts Council England, the MLA and Renaissance West Midlands.
