Ludlow Museum Resource Centre is offering free taster sessions as part of Adult Learners’ week from 19 - 23 May 2008.

On Monday 19 May 2008, 10.00am – 12.00pm, in ‘Drawing for Beginners’ people will work from a selection of objects and specimens from the museum collections with tutor Angela Gladwell.

On Wednesday 21 May 2008, 10.00am – 12.00pm, there will be ‘An introduction to the Natural History of South Shropshire’, using the superb natural history collection with tutor Bob Milner.

On Thursday 22 May 2008, 10.00am – 12.00pm, ‘An Introduction to the History of Flowers’, will concentrate on wedding flowers through the ages and uses examples from the stunning bridal accessory collections, including some practical demonstrations with tutor Alison Heuvelink.

Justeen Stone from the Ludlow centre said: “The taster sessions are a great opportunity for adults who have been thinking about learning a new skill or learning for fun and they’ll hopefully inspire some to take the next step and go on a course.”
