Long Lane at Sibdon Carwood near Craven Arms will be closed from 11.55pm on 7 June through to 8am on 23 June 2008, to allow for the essential replacement of the level crossing.
A section of the road will need to be closed for safety reasons whilst Network Rail carries out the work.
Whilst this is closed vehicles under 14’0” in height will be diverted along the A49, the B4368 Clun Road, westwards along the Clun Road to its junction with Watling Street, north along Watling Street to rejoin Long Lane and vice versa.
Vehicles over 14’0” in height will be diverted along the A49 to Bromfield, the A4113 to Leintwardine, the B4385 to Purslow, the B4368 to Watling Street and then north to Long Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained for residents and pedestrians either side of the works.
