Press release - 6 July 2007
Shropshire County Council Countryside Service will be holding a public meeting to let people know the findings of the recent public surveys that have been carried out at Nesscliffe Countryside Heritage Site. The meeting will be held at Nesscliffe Village Hall on Friday 13 July at 7.30pm.
Frank Tanner, Countryside Ranger, said: “Many varied comments concerning the site and its usage have been raised including car parking, litter and disturbance to wildlife. It is obvious that locals and visitors care greatly for the site. That’s why we would encourage everyone to come along to the meeting, hear the findings and to discuss them."
The meeting will be facilitated by an independent consultant, Steve Evison who is working with Shropshire County Council. For more information please contact Shropshire County Council Countryside Service on 01691 624448.
