The Chief Executive's Office is made up of the following areas.
Performance and Partnerships
Performance and Partnerships is made up of the following service areas:
- Policy, Performance & Communications - including Scrutiny, Complaints and Equalities and Diversity
- Customer Access
- Community Working
- Shropshire Partnership
The team is focused on ensuring strong strategic leadership at partnership level and safer, cohesive communities increasing decision making at a local level, managing corporate performance, producing the corporate plan, providing excellent customer service to all residents and visitors and delivering the best use of resources in its external and internal communications.
Human Resources and Development
Human Resources and Development is made up of the following three service areas:
- Human Resources Strategy – including the Shropshire Recruitment and Contracts Team
- Organisation Development – including Occupational Health
- Employee Relations – including Health and Safety
The team is focused on providing a quality Human Resources service to managers and employees.
Legal and Democratic Services
Legal and Democratic Services is made up of the following service areas:
- Legal Services
- Democratic Services - Committee & Councillor Services
- Democratic Services - Registration & Election Services
Legal and Democratic Services operates as a support service to the whole Council.
The team’s role is to assist in the administration of the democratic process and the decision making machinery of the Council, ensuring the law is correctly applied.
