We are happy to bring our activities to you, so no need for an expensive coach. We bring all the equipment, you provide the children.
As with all our activities, the Outreach Programme makes learning fun, so whether you’d like us to come into your classroom, after school or holiday club, our activities will entertain and educate your group.
Orienteering Antics
Acquire the skills to follow an orienteering course: compass use, position location, map orientation.
Suitable for: KS2; 1 1/2 hour workshop suitable for groups of up to 30 children

Fantastic Fossils
Make your own fossil and look at evidence of life from the distant past.
Suitable for: KS1 and KS2; 1 1/4 hour workshop for groups of up to 20 children

Bare Bones
Using bones from owl pellets, learn about the different bones, their movement and growth and different types of teeth and diet. Compare the bones with a human skeleton.

Papermaking
Explore the three 'Rs' of sustainability and make some recycled paper.

Working with Willow
Explore the properties of willow, choose to have your class make a fish, dragonfly, indian mandela, dream catcher, lantern or other willow shape. Structures can be made for a negotiated rate.

Felt Making
Create your own piece of fabric from natural fibre! Learn about the history of the material, then design and make your own A5-sized piece of felt.
