Welcome to the SITSS' pages of Shropshire County Council's website.

Some pages have restricted access depending on an individual school's subscription level. If you try to access a page and receive the message “you have tried to access a document which is restricted”, you will need to use the login box. All Shropshire Schools have been issued with usernames and passwords. If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact the IT Helpdesk (01743 252200).

School internet content filtering - please use the attached forms to block or unblock websites for your school or contact the IT Helpdesk.

• www.clubpenquin.com - Following complaints regarding this site, it has now been blocked. If individual schools wish to have this site unblocked, please use the online form to request this (3/12/08)
• Shropshire Learning Gateway - performance. The SLG project team and Core are aware of current performance problems with the learning platform. Two possible causes are being investigated as a priority. Please be assured that all concerned are treating this with the urgency it requires, but a timescale for resolution is not known at this stage. (24/9/08)

• Mobile Laptop Trolley Warning - Schools are warned to take extra care of electrical leads that trail from their laptop trolleys to the mains outlets where in some cases the leads have been run over by the unit and have bared electrical conductors within the lead.
  Please regularly check these leads and report any damages to the IT Services helpdesk or your property services representative and discontinue use until it has been repaired and tested. (28/06/07)
