Christmas Closure Period
The Whitchurch Leisure Centre will close for Christmas at 6pm on Friday 23 December and reopen on Tuesday 3 January 2012.

Whitchurch Leisure Centre will be CLOSED on Sunday 13 November 2011 due to essential maintenance work. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.
Opening Hours
Term time only:
Monday: 3pm - 10pm.
Tuesday: 9am - 12pm and 5pm - 10pm.
Wednesday: 5pm - 9pm.
Thursday: 9am - 12pm and 5pm - 9pm.
Friday: 9am - 1pm and 3pm - 9pm.
Saturday: 10am - 4pm.
Sunday: 10am -12pm and 5pm - 8pm.
Operating hours during school holidays will stay the same as before, opening at 8.30am to cater for children's holiday activities. Saturday and Sunday will be as above.
The centre will be closed on all bank holidays.

Facilities
Leisure facilities include:
- fitness suite with 24 pieces of cardiovascular equipment and resistance weights
- four-court sports hall
- full-sized floodlit artificial pitch
- gymnasium used for fitness classes and martial arts
- theatre with staging and/or raised seating
The Talbot Theatre
The Talbot Theatre is based within Whitchurch Leisure Centre and is an intimate theatre space which seats up to 200. A wide range of films, theatre, concerts and workshops take place here on a regular basis. Please take a look at our forthcoming programme by downloading the attachment on this page.
Maggie May's Academy of Dance
Classes on Fridays from 3.30pm.
- Ballet for ages 3 to 5yrs. 3.30pm – 4pm. £3
- Boogie Beatz for ages 5 to 9yrs. 4pm – 4.30pm. £3
- Ballet for ages 5 to 9yrs. 4.30pm – 5pm. £3
- Street/Commercial dance for ages 9+. 5.10pm – 6pm. £4
Fun, friendly lesson, no pressure of exams, regular shows, affordable lesson fees. First lesson free!
The hall is also available for hire, staging is flexible and raked seating is also an option.
There is a licensed bar, disabled access, toilet and a hearing loop.
