Shropshire Triathlon 2010 in association with Tri UK

Once again the Shropshire Triathlon has been selected as a host venue for the British Triathlon Federation Triathlon World Championships Qualifier. This is the eighteenth year of this exciting and popular event and the fourth time of World Championship Qualifying Event status, it is also one of the 2010 Taut British Triathlon Ranking Series event.
The Ellesmere event grew rapidly since the inception of the first race on Sunday 20th September 1992. Compared to the success of subsequent years it was a relatively low key event but still attracted a high quality field of 120 athletes and a large number of spectators. Ellesmere has maintained the high standards of the early years which has merited the status awarded by the BTF.
