New PCs
Shropshire schools purchasing new PCs/laptops through SITSS are able to have them pre-installed with the Shropshire ‘image’. Once we have been informed of your order and have an installation date we will contact you to discuss your software requirements. This should be a fairly quick process during which we will go through the image titles that you are entitled to and explain any cost implications. If you have ordered PCs and you require additional titles installing that are not part of the ‘image’ then we will note these and inform the engineers of your requirements. The installation of up to four titles will be free but for quantities above this we will request a quote for you. Once your requirements have been agreed we will send a copy of the installation form to you and the engineers who will carry out the installation. After the installation has been completed you will be required to sign the form which will be returned to SITSS. Once we receive a copy of this form we will issue any licences or software that are required and send you an invoice for any charges that are due. If you requested additional titles to be installed then it is the responsibility of the school to ensure that they are adequately licensed. If we have been unable to contact you prior to the installation then we will send a form to you and the engineers based on any previous details that we have or your entitlement to titles. We will not include any items that will incur a charge.

We are able to obtain most software titles and offer those schools that subscribe to the Advisory Service a 5% discount off the RRP.
