The spotlight firmly falls on Shropshire this Sunday (14 February) as two peak-time BBC 1 TV programmes feature different aspects of the county.
At 6pm rural affairs programme Countryfile sees presenters Julia Bradbury and Matt Baker on the Long Mynd looking at heather burning, red kites and hang gliding and then joining local walks leader Keith Pybus on a stroll in the valley near Craven Arms and Stokesay Castle.
Following this, at 7pm, the popular Antiques Roadshow comes from the Blists Hill Victorian Town near Ironbridge.
Both programmes are watched by between 6 and 7 million viewers and will certainly help to make people more aware of Shropshire, and the many attractions that the county has to offer.
In addition, Shropshire-based chef Will Holland from La Becasse restaurant in Ludlow will be appearing on BBC1's Saturday Kitchen on Saturday morning (13 February).
