Shropshire Council is currently developing the third Local Transport Plan. The plan
outlines the council's transport strategy and objectives for 15 years from April 2011 and will also include a detailed three year action plan.
Shropshire's provisional LTP Strategy (2011-2026) and LTP Implementation Plan (2011-2014) were available for comments during May-July 2011.
We also asked your opinions on how transport expenditure should be prioritised.

It is important that this issue is now resolved in a way that most effectively addresses the concerns of all sections, residents of all ages, traders and visitors.
Three options are now under consideration, for full details follow the link on this page.

Contra-flow cycling on one way streets in Shrewsbury
As part of the Cycle Shrewsbury programme, we are committed to making Shrewsbury's town centre more 'permeable' for cyclists. This has led to a review of one way streets, and we have now identified a number of streets where contra-flow cycling could be introduced.
Follow the link on this page to the Cycle Shrewsbury website to find out more about the proposals.
This consultation period closed at the end of January.
