Consultation on traffic improvements for Much Wenlock
Shropshire Council encouraged residents to ask questions and have their say at a public exhibition on proposed traffic changes for Much Wenlock.
This exhibition provided information on more detailed proposals that will be taken forward as result of the feedback from the general consultation event that was held in Much Wenlock in November 2008, including proposed measures for the A458 and the potential for a 20mph speed restriction in the town centre.
For more information about the exhibition please follow the link on this page.
Draft vehicle activated sign policy consultation
Shropshire Council recently consulted with parish and town councils on a draft vehicle activated sign policy. This document outlines the criteria for use and funding of vehicle activated signs on the highway and the cost sharing arrangements with parish and town councils. Once finalised the draft policy will form part of the council’s wider speed management strategy. Follow the link on this page for more details of this consultation.
