Local transport plans

Transport is a central part of everyday life. It influences and impacts on where we work, go to school or college, receive health care, go shopping or go out in our leisure time.

Effective transport planning ensures that there is a local transport infrastructure in place, working to meet the needs of the local community and minimise the impact on the environment.

North West Relief Road

Mobility Guidance

Shropshire Council has produced a Mobility Guidance for Shropshire document. This document is intended to provide Shropshire Council and its partners with a clearer understanding of the different mobility needs of people with disabilities when designing transport infrastructure, services and information. Much Wenlock Transport Study

Shropshire Council recently undertook a major transport study of Much Wenlock in order to identify practical and effective measures to deal with local traffic problems and concerns.
