Need a Bus time? - Send a Text

Traveline-txt provides the time of the next bus from a specific bus stop straight to your mobile phone as an SMS text message. Every bus stop in Shropshire has a unique code made up of numbers, all you have to do is text your code to 84268 to get a reply.

The texting service provides a hassle free alternative to finding bus information, 24 hours a day. If you want to finish a task at work or pop into a shop, you can check if you have enough time to do so without missing the bus.

Codes can be found via our shropmap facility on the internet, to find your code select the link to shropmap on this page. Once you have opened shropmap follow the link to travel and roads then select the shropshire bus stops option in the menu. When you have located you stop select the i button and then select the stop.

Alternatively you can select the text codes attachment and find your stop under the relevant town or village.

The cost is your normal tariff plus 25p for the return message.
