Business travel grants

This grant can help you to:

• Improve access to your site(s).
• Make travel for work purposes more efficient, saving you time and money.
• Improve your image.
• Reduce vehicle use to and from your site(s).
• Raise awareness of the economic, social, health, environmental and safety impacts of our travel choices.
• Reduce staff sick days by increasing walking, cycling, bus/train use and car sharing.

This grant:

1. Is up to £1,000.
2. Can cover 100% of the costs.
3. Is paid when you give us receipted invoices (i.e. you pay the invoices, then we give you a grant to the value of the invoices; a maximum of £1,000).

To apply you must:

1. Be based in Shropshire.
2. Produce a Travel Plan with our Travel Plan Officer (contact details on this page). This is a plan to increase car sharing, walking, cycling and bus/train use to and from your site, reducing the percentage of trips carried out by car.
3. Complete an application form and send it to our Travel Plan Officer.
