There is fixed-term vacancy for a part time Library Assistant at Market Drayton Library. You will be expected to have good communication, customer service and computer skills and be able to demonstrate an interest in libraries, books and reading. The main duties of the post will be to operate the library service efficiently, issuing and returning materials, assisting customers and maintaining a tidy and attractive library.

The hours of work will include regular weekend and evening duties and additional hours will be required on an occasional basis.

A minimum of 5 passes at GCSE (or equivalent) are required.
