An interesting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work across Shropshire to provide learning and development opportunities in the area of Older People and People with Physical Disability.

You will be required to identify, develop, provide or commission learning opportunities for workers across the statutory, independent and voluntary sector. This will include the involvement of service users and Family Carers.

You will be a qualified, social worker or nurse or have equivalent relevant qualifications. You will be registered with an appropriate body. Experience of identifying learning needs and developing learning materials is required along with word processing and IT skills. You will have an understanding of National Occupational Standards and a good working knowledge of Health and Social Care legislation.

You will be based within a team of learning and development professionals and supported by regular supervision. Annual appraisal reviews and support to manage your own continuing professional development will be provided.
