Shropshire Council provides health, safety and welfare advice, support and monitoring throughout the Council for all employees, including:
- Undertaking a planned annual programme to improve the management of health and safety risks
- Revising devising health and safety policy and procedures
- Inspections and audits
- Monitoring for environmental hazards (noise, temperature, humidity, chemicals etc.)
- Assistance and support for risk assessment
- Health and safety training
- Support with return to work and rehabilitation work
