Shropshire Council provides health, safety and welfare advice, support and monitoring throughout the Council for all employees, including:

• Undertaking a planned annual programme to improve the management of health and safety risks
• Revising devising health and safety policy and procedures
• Inspections and audits
• Monitoring for environmental hazards (noise, temperature, humidity, chemicals etc.)
• Assistance and support for risk assessment
• Health and safety training
• Support with return to work and rehabilitation work
• Works/equipment design and planning
• Incident investigation and reporting
