Thanks to the roll out of a national scheme, funded by the carton manufacturers themselves, you can now recycle your paper-based liquid food and drinks cartons, such as those made by Tetra Pak at various bring sites around the county.
Please remember: wash and squash your cartons before recycling.
Once collected, they are taken away to be baled, and transported to a recycling mill. The paper within the cartons can then be recycled into a number of different products, ranging from plasterboard liner to high-strength paper bags, printing paper and envelopes.
