Entering the recycling centre area there are skips on the left for timber, cardboard and scrap metal.
Four portholes into the building are provided – two each for garden waste and for general non-recyclable waste. Skips for soil and rubble are situated in the centre of the site.
A one-way system operates, and customers should drive around the site to use the recycling banks – textiles, glass bottles, plastic bottles, newspapers and cans. There is a reception area for bulky items next to the site exit.
There are no areas where waste such as soil and rubble, or garden materials, can be tipped on the ground.
Whilst staff will offer to help to unload and deposit waste where practical, they must follow health and safety rules and they cannot lift items which are too heavy. Assistance in unloading loose waste cannot be guaranteed.
As you leave, watch out for traffic from the adjacent workshop units.
