When is it open?

The site is currently on its winter opening schedule which is 9am to 5pm every day. The site closes on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Entry permits

If you use a large trailer or commercial-type vehicle you need a permit to get into the HRC.

Materials we recycle

You can recycle 30 different types of material at the HRC. For a full list of items click here.

Bulky item collections

If you cannot take waste to the HRC yourself, for a small charge we can arrange a collection.
