What can currently be recycled ?

The following can be recycled using your kerbside recycling collection scheme, placed in the canbanks at a Household Recycling Centre, or put in one of the many can banks located throughout Shropshire.

• All clean steel and aluminium cans
• Clean aluminium foil
• Empty aerosol cans

What cans can’t be recycled?

Cans containing oil, or any household or garden chemicals

What happens to the cans and foil?

It’s sorted magnetically, to be made into new metal products – your can could come back as part of a car (or a bicycle, or a washing machine – the possibilities are endless!).
