If you do have waste which is not recyclable why not see if your local school needs any for arts and crafts or contact the Shropshire Children's Scrapstore ('Scrappies') in Church Stretton to see if they require anything for their scrap-store.
Scrapstore (Scrappies) is a recycling resource centre based in south Shropshire which collects unwanted materials. Artists and school children can then make use of these materials for educational and artistic purposes.
