If you design or build houses in Shropshire you must make sure they are suitable for waste collections. We want to encourage sustainable development but houses must enable safe, efficient and sustainable collection of waste.

All homes must have enough space to store two weeks worth of rubbish and recycling. Please read the attached guidance document which outlines our minimum standards for waste storage and collections. We reserve the right to formally object to any proposals which may make it difficult for us to collect waste.
