Shropshire primary schools for the future

Shropshire County Council has been waiting for the Department for Children Schools and Families agreement to publish statutory notice where the process will lead to the opening of a new school for the community. As the DCSF were not able to respond in time to publish notices before the summer holiday that stage of the process will now take place in September, though the dates for this are not yet set. At the same time we will issue public notices for the closure of Lydbury North and the expansion of Clunbury as agreed by Cabinet at their meeting on June 25th.

In the meantime this enables us to ask again for your views, this time on the on the draft public notices for all these schools. By clicking on the links below this will take you to each school's individual page and the accompanying documents on which we would welcome comments. However, it must be pointed out that this is not a replacement for the six week period for representations which would follow the formal publication of the notices.
