Ludlow Youth Centre

Ludlow Youth Centre is based at Lower Galdeford in Ludlow. It covers a large rural area in the south of the county and works with Ludlow School and in partnership with Connexions and other agencies.

The purpose built Youth Centre was opened in April 2006 and has a range of facilities including:

• music room
• computer suite
• skateboard ramp
• pool tables
• craft room
• meeting rooms

Current programmes include:

• centre skills
• music project
• art and enterprise for young women
• young people's health
• after school, extended school clubs
• Youth Achievement Awards
• computers
• drop-in sessions

The project also runs a Thursday Help2quit lunchtime session and Friday lunchtime young people's CHAT health drop-in session both at Ludlow School. These are run in partnership between the Youth Service, the school and local GP services.
