Kidszone, Oswestry
Kidszone nursery is a private setting situated in a purpose-built building in Eastern Oswestry, and is open during the hours of 7.30am-6pm, Mon-Fri, all year round, excluding Bank Holidays. The nursery accommodates Seventy children aged from three months to twelve years.

Main duties


  • To supervise children in their daily routine, this to include lunch/snack times.
  • To follow all settings policy and Procedures.
  • To support child in their natural learning and development through play.
  • Support key persons as deemed necessary to ensure all individual children’s needs are met fully.
  • To clean away after lunch time, this may include loading the dish washer, washing/drying up, clearing and cleaning tables, putting away tables/chairs and sweeping/mopping floor.
  • Carrying out all responsibilities and activities within an equal opportunities’ framework.
  • To attend staff meeting or relevant training as specified by Kidszone Management.
  • Working within agreed policies.
  • Any other duties as required specified by Kidszone manager to ensure the needs of the setting and individual children are met fully.
  • To complete 12 induction standards within the specified time.
  • To prepare, serve and clear away snacks as required.
  • To undertake daily cleaning, as required.

Essential requirements

  • GCSE in English and Maths Grade C or above
  • Good communication skills
  • A commitment to equal opportunities, and an understanding of equality and diversity issues
  • Willingness to update skills and undertake further training
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK. NB This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions or orders made against them. An enhanced DBS is required for this role
