Oswestry High Street Heritage Zone

Welcome to the home of the Oswestry High Streets Heritage Action Zone – a project where the town’s rich heritage is being used to regenerate the centre.

A number of successful schemes are already well under way to make Oswestry an even better place to live, work, shop and visit.

From transforming run down buildings and shop fronts and restoring them to their former glory to revitalising the town’s alleyways, supporting local traders and holding events to mark all what is good about this stunning market town.

Run through a partnership by Shropshire Council, Oswestry Town Council, Oswestry Business Improvement District and funded by Oswestry Town Council and Shropshire Council and Historic England, under a £95 million national scheme.
